M20 Rubber panels are best suited as part of the installation for an acoustic wall lining. The product allows an excellent level of airborne sound reduction without losing significant depth.
M20 Rubber panels are used as a direct acoustic fix for residential properties. The 20mm of rubber offers the required amount of separation and mass needed for soundproofing products. We would recommend to fit a finishing acoustic board over the top which could be taped & jointed or skimmed.
dB Soundboard always advise a mechanical fixing is required along with the adhesive. 9 fixings per sheet are suggested. Then simply seal the perimeter with Acoustic Sealant. Always check and be confident of the structural integrity of the wall you are installing onto to ensure it can take the additional weight.
